June was a spectacular month for sports, and Real Stars Sports Agency, in collaboration with Fortebet Uganda and Jude Colour Solutions, celebrated the top performers with a prestigious awards ceremony.
Lifetime Achievement Award
Recipient: Mukwenda Godfrey Mbalire
- Background: Mukwenda Godfrey Mbalire has been a stalwart of the sports industry since the early 2000s. His significant contributions began to shine in 2006 when he joined the Ssingo Ssaza football management team. Over the years, he has served as Secretary, Treasurer, and Chairman, earning recognition from the Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi, who appointed him to the Masaza Cup organizing committee. Under his leadership, Ssingo Ssaza constructed their ground and successfully hosted the crucial 2012 Masaza Cup final. Mbalire’s leadership helped Ssingo clinch their first Masaza Cup trophy in 2015, and he has continued to support other teams, notably Buddu, in recent years.
